I can't believe that we went from second place to last in the tournament today! The first game was great, then we totally burned it. Urgh. And I've got a bruise 'cause of that girl's cleats.
So, no, I haven't written in a while. Umm, I was really busy - soccer, babysitting, and a hundred things in-between. There was an awesome dance not long ago =)
Some great books I forgot to post:
Lullabies for Little Criminals
Twilight saga
Uglies
Animal Farm
the Emily Windsnap duo
Crackback
Romeo and Juliet (the original Shakespeare version)
Well, it was short, but that's all there is for now.
Jessie
I know, I didn't write after I said I would, BUT there is a perfectly valid reason. LJ wouldn't load right, so there! But, guess what? We won!
Guess what else? I got swarmed! LOL, my aunt brought cookies to the game. I saw her coming, and I said, "You brought me COOKIES!" and everyone's heads just turned. Then, they got up, and they're all like, "Can I have one! She got one!" It was crazy!
I took that stupid test at nerdtests. LOL, guess what?

Also, I got "Apprentice" on the MakeAWord - that's the best that I've ever done.
Working on a D/G, but I don't know how long it will take me to get it up, I'm rather busy and can be forgetful, as we all know!
Lots of Love,
Jessie.</lg-raw>

wow,
i haven't written in a while, have I ? Well, I've been pretty busy, so that excuse will have to do. School and soccer and babysitting and then I really don't have much time left, plus I've been sick.
We are going to Sherbrooke tomorrow for a game! Yay! I might go stay with my aunt for a day afterwardss, but I'd have to be back home on Saturday for Fiddle lessons! YAY!
Didn't go to practice today 'cause I was sick.
Hmmm. Well honestly, I haven't all that much to write. Haven't really done anything interesting.
I'll update tomorrow, though, with the game results. I hope we win!
TTYL,
jessie
Today was a longg, long day.
We had to go back to school; I have the worst schedule, the worst teachers, and the worst classmates. The only thing that worked out was we got our lockers.I was shaking by the time I got home because I was like starving - all I ate was a piece of cake, at lunch, my lock wouldn't open. So, all in all, a horrible day.
Oh, but Jamie? I love your backpack!
So, unto the least of depressing things. The weekend (that just passed, ha). It was terrific. I spent a couple of days out in Storrie with my aunt and uncle, and on Saturday we headed out to the camp on the wheelers. It was damn bumpy, but it was funn! There was a bat. It was cute. We got caught out there by the rain though.
Not long before that I was at Mirandas for the night. It was greatt, I guess. We watched Sidney White and, oh, what's it called? Picture this? Yah thats it. I liked the Sidney White one, and I suppose Picture This was allright too.
I read a great book today. It's called Becoming Ruby. It's by Kathy Stinson and it's fantastic.
I thought I'd have more to write, but I guess not. I suppose everything all jumbled up in your head seems like alot, but once its written out, well, whaddaya know? You've got three paragraphs. Fiction is wayy easier. It's everything.
anyways,
I'll write when I get the chance, but you probably already know that.

also, i'm DOUBLEnot watching Canadian Idol now because Mookie got voted off. so ya.
last night i watched definetly, maybe. it was a veryy, VERY good moviee. it was huilarious.
the other movie I recently watched was Mamma Mia! in theatres. it was really, really funny. they could actually sing. best musical i ever saw. and today my aunt brought the soundtrack, so im listening to it now. but, it's a little fuzzy since i have really awful speakers! haha.
and it's no longer fuzzy, cause i fixed it. the wave balance was messed up. HAHAH!
byee.

so, come early sunday morning, she's going to say goodbye
drive past the water tower,
eighty-miles an hour over county lines.
red bull and a blue camaro,
blacktop to golden sand
what lies ahead down that old road,
no doubt it's a big old world.
but, you're never going to know til you Fly Girl!
I'm not going to say anything about Canadian Idol (which was on tonight, but I didn't watch), other than that I'm not watching anymore this season since Amberly has been voted off, after a stunning performance last week of Feist's 1,2,3,4 (tell me that you love me more).
So...nothing much has happened, I don't think since I last wrote. Oh, wait, we went school shopping in Hawkesbury.
OH! And I was on the news. I was down at the Gaelic College on Saturday for the Festival and I was in one of the fiddle workshops. Then a guy came around with the camera! and wah-la! i'm a TV star, lol.
and I babysat. but that's not that irregular.
anyways, i've gotta go.
love,
jessie.

Well, it's obviously time to wish summer good-bye...even though it's only August 6th. But, hey, what did we expect? Since this is Canada, and we had t-shirt days in January, it seems only natural for freezing waters, chilly winds and lots of rain to appear now. Oh, and the rain isn't letting up this week. No siree.
Also, we are giving farewell to Day - Mark Day, that is, from Canadian Idol. Lots of people are sad. However, I am not one of them, for it gives Mookie, Amberly, and well Mitch kind of (t's a wonder it wasn't he who was voted off last night, he was horrible on Monday!) more of a chance to win. YAY!
Hmm, so what have I done since I last wrote? Lots, of course. I arrived at my aunt's yesterday, and am staying for tonight and tommorow also. today we went up to Lisa's parents floating dock and went swimming - don't ask, my finger went numb and I couldn't feel it. I had flippers, and they were very cool. I felt like a frog. Tomorrow we are possibly going on a wheeler trip, if we do it will either be up the pipeline or up to my aunt and uncle's camp. Yay!
So, TTFN and have a great weekend!
Jessi+e
But today we went to the beach! YAY!
1: Amberly - She's an amazing singer.
2: Mitch - not only is he great, but he's our provinces rep, and we all want him to win!
3: Mookie - he's the epitome of cool. Seriously.
But, I'm also pissed off - they kicked Katherine (it might start with a C, she's French) off and she was really, really, good!
Speaking of Mookie, I'm staying at my aunts, and one of her cats name is that. Come to think of it, they've got the same colour hair.
So what did I do since I got to Truro? Well yesterday and today we went shopping! Here's a list of what I bought:
1 blue Roxy t-shirt that says Roxy and has a stripe.
4 tank-tops (burgundy, pink, navy and white) from BlueNotes
1 pair Northstar hi-tops with fruits on them
1 pair Northstar crosstrainers (that last night I stupidly wore running without socks and now I have a HUGE blister that popped. it hurts.
1 Warehouse One t-shirt that has buttons and is covered in hearts.
1 Warehouse One t-shirt that is plain white
1 hot pink Puma t-shirt. It's my favourite thing that I bought.
Also, last night we went swimming at Scotia Pool - the water was lovely. Tomorrow if it's not raining we are going to Victoria Park. Yay!
And I think we are extending our visit a day or two longer instead of leaving tomorrow! YAY!
I say that alot, don't I?
Well, a Tigger (a TTFN) for now!

Wow! This past weekednw as very long and very sweet. So, even before we started I was exhausted since I had to babysit Friday night until like 1am.
First off on Staurday, we got up really early and went to the Higland games Parade, like we do every year. Then, we got in to van and drove to Halifax! We stopped in Stewiackie for lunch, and, surprisingly, it was really good, which I wasn't expecting since it was a KFC.
Then, once we got to Halifax, we parked in Dartmouth (the nelly concert was going on right near where we parked and it was very busy) and took the ferry over to downtown Halifax, where we went to the Discovery Centre. It was AMAZING. There was like everything there - sandboxes, like millions of experiments, and there was a little show where this guy dipped flowers into liquid nitrogen (it's like -197 degrees celsius) and he took them out and then squeezed the top - the flowers crushed into little pieces. Also, he added it to soap and boiling water and there was a huge bubble explosion type of thing.
When we were done there we took the ferry back to Dartmouth and went to get stuff to eat. I got a BACONATER. Yum. then we took all the food back to the hotel we stayed in and ate at the picnic table out by the pool. I w=stayed in the pool for almost three hours, it was amazing - warm, clean, and it was outside, so I was really surprised at the lack of bugs in it.
This morning we caught the TRAIN to Truro and it was late leaving, and it took us almost two hours to get here. It was very relaxing, and I couldn't believe the amout of people going to Montreal!
So now, I'm looking forward to spending a nice, relaxing weekend here at my aunts and doing a little shopping.
TTFN,
jessie
